D3S Terms of Use

Digital Divide Data Ventures, LLC and its affiliates (“DDD” or “we”) provide cutting edge Data Operations and Data Engineering services in the field of Automotive amongst other Physical and Digital AI applications. In order to provide our future customers an acceptable baseline of our data labeling capabilities, we provide the “D3Scenes or D3S” dataset on top of existing open-source large scale driving datasets, in accordance with the following “Terms of Use”. By using or downloading D3Scenes, you (“you” or “Licensee”) are agreeing to comply with the terms of use and the applicable licensing terms below and linked herein (collectively, the “Terms of Use”)

License - Data and Documentation: D3Scenes and any associated data or documentation are provided free of charge under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International Public License (“CC BY-NC-SA 4.0”). The full text of the license is accessible at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/legalcode. This licensing follows the upstream licensing and attribution requirements and acceptable Terms of Use for the A2D2 (ReadMe) and Argoverse (Terms of Use) datasets.

  • Using the D3Scenes Non-Commercially: We license D3Scenes data and documents to you for non-commercial purposes only. Under the terms of the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 “non-commercial” means “not primarily intended for or directed towards commercial advantage or monetary compensation.” You can use the annotations in this dataset to benchmark your ML research models or compare DDD’s annotations capabilities for a competitive evaluation.

Suggestions: If you use D3Scenes and identify additional annotation opportunities that might benefit you, write to us at ddd@digitaldividedata.com ; if you suggest any changes you may be required to confirm that your changes are subject to CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 at minimum.

Privacy: Open-source driving datasets used for ML data annotations are subject to their respective “Privacy Policies” for protecting and anonymizing the privacy of individuals in these datasets. If you notice that your face or licence plate is still identifiable, or if you have any privacy concerns pertaining to the specific driving dataset, please refer to the (A2D2 Privacy Policy, Argoverse Privacy Policy) for their respective “Privacy Policies”.

  • Marketing: You may not use DDD’s trademark, logo, or name without DDD’s express written permission. Please note that proper attribution in accordance with these Terms of Use is expressly authorized and required.

General Compliance: Use of D3Scenes is subject to applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, export regulations, and DDD may decline to grant a license, and/or elect to terminate a license with respect to any Licensee, in the event that such Licensee’s actual or proposed use of D3Scenes (i) is not permitted under applicable laws or regulations, (ii) fails to comply with these Terms of Use, or (iii) has the potential to negatively impact DDD’s reputation.
