Responsibilities:

  • Building and deploying a scalable talent acquisition process that is uniquely tailored towards attracting capable resources from the military community is core to the Liberty Source Operating model. Leverage DDD enterprise wide techniques such as its top-grading selection engine. 
  • Establishing and maintaining all necessary military affiliations and alliances with VA, V3, MSEP, Family Support Centers, etc.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, HR or a related field is highly desired. PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
  • Direct/hands on HR experience in employee relations, consultative management coaching/counseling, and program delivery (e.g. total rewards, OD, learning and development, etc.) required.

Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Project management

  • Evaluate requirements for new project requests, determine feasibility and estimate work effort

This position exists to lead a large, international image editing project for a single client. The project team will grow rapidly under the direction of the Account Manager, to a team of more than 200 people across all functions including image editors, quality assurance, team leaders, and project managers. Responsibilities include all aspects of project leadership including staffing and training plans, budgeting and scheduling, personnel management, client satisfaction measurement and process improvements.

Solutions Developer (2 positions) 

The Solutions Developer will work in projects that will help DDD in development of new potential services. The Solutions Developer will work on the development of process for new opportunities and improvement of the processes of the existing services offered by DDD.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Acts as Technical Lead on new sales opportunities and works closely with Sales and clients in assessment of development of new process to meet project requirements.
  • Spearheads client communications during the assessment and development stage of new project opportunities.

DDD is implementing social science research in East Africa, especially Kenya, across a range of topics from financial access, through health and maternity services to civil action. The principal investigators come from organizations such as research institutes, international organizations and universities. DDD is now seeking one or more Research Managers to join our team based in Nairobi.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Be entirely responsible for the management of one or more projects, which may range from a few weeks to a year or more
  • Develop project management plans and ensure the team stays on course with project timelines.
  • Manage the project budget including cash planning and reporting.
  • Ensure that the quality of data meets requirements, including quality measures and spot checks
  • Manage field teams doing work in all parts of Kenya and around East Africa.

Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

DDD is now seeking qualified candidate to fill in the position of Project Manager or Senior Project Manager based in Vientiane, Laos.

The position reports to the Vice President of Operations and Project Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Project Management

  • Project Planning, Project Implementation or Execution, Evaluation and Monitoring, and Reporting
  • Coordinating to the Operations Department for required resources
  • Establishing, managing and controlling a project budget
  • Managing relationship with clients and with internal stakeholders and partners
  • Leading project team members and supervising the work of Project Coordinator(s)
  • Provide on the job training to the project team as required

QUALIFICATIONS Primary Skills

  • University degree
  • 3 years experience in management position; project management experience is desirable
  • Experience in a mid-­‐management level supervisory position is a plus
  • Good understanding of the standard process improvement and quality control practices
  • Initiative and able to work independently
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt to other cultures
  • Microsoft Office, advanced knowledge of MS Excel is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of fluency in English
