How to help?

Please take a look at our current Full-Time and Volunteer Opportunities

Digital Divide Data has grown due to the work of dedicated volunteers and donors, who have donated their time to design our website, help streamline our processes, develop our software and donate funds to cover the costs of some our startup expenses and social programs. Though our aim is to create a self-sustaining social venture in the long run, we benefit highly from donated services and funds as we look to expand the reach of our programs. If you would like to help Digital Divide Data more, here are a few ideas on how you might. If you other ideas on how to assist, feel free to email us at volunteer@digitaldividedata.com or donate@digitaldividedata.com

Give a scholarship, support the continued education and career growth of an operator

Each of Digital Divide Data’s employees receives funding to support half of their Educational Scholarship Program, where they study a variety of subjects from English to veterinary medicine to accounting. Generous donors have helped us support scholarships during our startup phase; business revenues will eventually support these in the future. If you would like to support a scholarship, please write us at donate@digitaldividedata.com An annual scholarship costs approximately $250, and upon receiving your donation, you will receive your scholarship recipient’s name and email address. A scholarship donation can be dedicated to a family member or friend, and we will send correspondence to them thanking them for the gift. Furthermore, we can issue a tax receipt, as we are a charity with 501(c) 3 status.

Help us find new clients – tell a friend

Digitization is happening all around us – in banks, libraries, newspapers, universities. We can provide a valuable service to many organizations with great quality and low cost, and at the same time helping support some of the world’s most needy in a sustainable way. With our limited resources we cannot reach as many potential clients as we would like. If you know a librarian or newspaper editor or a professor, tell them about Digital Divide Data. Some of our best clients have come from referrals from friends, relatives and other clients. If you know someone you think could use our services, email us at sales@digitaldividedata.com

Volunteer

Two years ago, we started Digital Divide Data with the hopes of building a social enterprise; at the time we had no website, no computers, and no experience in the data entry business. Thanks to the efforts of our management team, advisors and a group of volunteers, we have built a thriving local social enterprise with an extremely low level of cash donations. Our website, management information systems, marketing materials, and almost all aspects of our management technical assistance programs all exist due to volunteers. Think you might like to contribute, email us at volunteer@digitaldividedata.com
