Digital Divide Data has an immediate opening for a Director of Business Development. For the past five
years, DDD has been helping leading universities, publishing companies, private schools, research
libraries and law firms bring their paper-based archives on line. To support our growth, DDD is
expanding our US based sales team.

We are looking for an eager professional with 2 – 5 years of experience to direct our efforts in developed
market segments. DDD has benefited from a tremendous reputation among our clients and in the
national press. The right candidate will have the ability to take advantage of DDD’s momentum and bring
the organization to a new level of sustainable growth. |

Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to craft a complete solution to meet client business requirements from a set of available products and services
- 2 – 5 years in sales or business development for IT services, consulting or a related industry
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Duties:
- Generate leads and close new business in DDD’s existing market segments
- Follow up on in-bound inquiries and leads generated marketing and the Executive team
- Write proposals and direct sales support team to produce accurate price quotes
- Manage co-selling situations with DDD’s partners
- Represent DDD a trade shows and events
- Travel to meet with clients and partners

Compensation: Base salary, plus commission.
|
Location: Flexible, with preference for New York City, New England or Mid Atlantic

Digital Divide Data (DDD) is a non-profit, “social enterprise” established in July 2001 to create jobs and
educational opportunities in developing countries by providing outsourced digitization and data entry
services.
