It is time-consuming and difficult to acquire data from hard copy or non-searchable sources such as microfilm. DDD can help academic research go faster, smoother and be more accurate by transferring hard-copy data into Access, Excel or other formats that allow researchers to get easy access to their needed data. We can use a variety of processes to ease your research, depending on the specifics of your data. We use state-of-the-art optical character recognition (OCR), double-entry capture, and computerized data verification to ensure excellent keying accuracy.

We can scan your data or microfilm and double-key the data you are interested in into a database, tailored to your specific needs. We can take your raw source documents and enter them into a format that can be analyzed using statistical software. You can filter out unwanted data and gain access to the data you need at a lower cost, with less man-hours and greater accuracy.   

Database analysis and Report Generation

Depending on your specific needs, once we create and populate a database, we can also perform a wide range of statistical analyses and generate a variety of reports.
