My name is Kean Chivoan I have one brother and one
sister. I am the first child in the family. I was born on 12 February 1980 in
Kandal Province. My father is a teacher in Kandal Province.
In 1999 I finished High School at Hun Sen Khach Kandal High School.
When I finished high school I moved to Phnom Penh to live with my uncle to
continue my study. My uncle has two sons and two daughters. I did not learn in
the University, because my parents did not have money to support me. The salary
of my father was only enough to buy the foods for my family I couldn't study
English at the private school.
In 1999-2000 I studied computer at CWDA, Cambodian Women
Development Agency which taught only women without charging money. This is the
first time I have started learning English. I learned to tailor but I did not
use it for my job, instead I made up my mind to learn English.
In 2000-2001 I learned computer and English at CVCD, Cambodian
Volunteer Community Development. Now I work at Digital Divide Data. I'm very
interested in this job and this job is so important for me, because I can earn
money for supporting my brother and my sister for study. I think that it is
good for my future to work here.
